TPI Disclosure

Business Green Energy Ltd is an independent Third-Party Intermediary (TPI). We help UK businesses compare and procure electricity, gas and water contracts. We are not a licensed energy supplier, distribution network operator, or meter operator.

Our role

We act as a broker between your business and licensed energy suppliers. We gather your usage and site details, run a tender across our supplier panel, and present a clear comparison so you can choose a contract. We can also assist with contract management, bill validation and renewal timing.

How we are paid

We are paid by suppliers via commission on contracts we place. You do not pay us a fee for our broking service unless we agree a separate, documented fee-based arrangement in advance. Commission is paid by the supplier, not by you, and is built into the price you pay for energy.

Commission disclosure

We disclose that commission is paid by suppliers. The rates presented to you are the rates offered by suppliers; commission does not alter the unit rates or standing charges you see in our comparison. Where a supplier offers us differential commission, this does not change the price you are quoted. We will explain how commission works and answer any questions you have before you commit.

Whole-of-market

We operate on a whole-of-market basis. Our panel includes over 30 suppliers and we do not favour any supplier for reasons of commission. Supplier recommendations are based on your usage, contract preferences and overall value, not on the commission we receive.

No obligation

You are under no obligation to accept any quote we provide. Submitting your details and receiving a comparison commits you to nothing. You remain free to contract directly with any supplier at any time.

Conflicts of interest

Where any conflict of interest arises, we will manage it transparently and in your interest. We will tell you about any relationship or arrangement that could influence our recommendation and ensure it does not disadvantage you.

Data and complaints

We handle your data in line with our Privacy Policy. Complaints are handled under our Complaints Procedure, which includes referral to an independent redress scheme where applicable.
